In 2015, the People’s Climate March Atlanta brought together 550 Atlantans who wanted to see climate justice at the United Nations Climate Change Conference. (Check out a recap and pics from last year!) That conference brought us the Paris Agreement, in which the world committed to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius.
This year, we’re turning out in even bigger numbers to march to the polls for early voting. Our goal? To show elected officials at every level that Atlanta still cares about climate change and wants to see action! Join us as we march to an early voting location, cast our votes in support of the climate, and send our leaders an unmistakable message: Earth is our issue.
